The RTA Legacy (2010-2025)
For 15 years, this domain was home to the Red de Transparencia y Acceso a la Información (RTA), which translates to “Transparency and Access to Information Network.”
What Was the RTA?
The RTA was an international network that brought together transparency and access to information authorities from across Latin America. Member countries included Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, and many others.
The network focused on:
- Document Management: Developing best practices for managing government records (Modelo de Gestión Documental)
- Transparency Standards: Creating frameworks for government openness and accountability
- Information Access: Improving how citizens access public information
- Regional Cooperation: Sharing knowledge and strategies across countries
Historical RTA content and resources have been preserved and are accessible through:
- Current RTA Platform: https://rtared.org/
- Internet Archive: Archive.org snapshots
Our Mission Today
Under new ownership, redrta.org now focuses on artificial intelligence tools and solutions, with special emphasis on applications that support the very values the RTA championed: transparency, accessibility, and efficient information management.
Why AI Tools?
The transition from a transparency network to an AI tools platform might seem unexpected, but there’s a meaningful connection. The challenges the RTA addressed—managing vast amounts of documents, making information accessible to the public, ensuring government accountability—are exactly the kinds of problems modern AI technology can help solve.
Continuing the Legacy of Transparency
We honor the RTA’s mission by focusing on AI technologies that:
- Help governments manage documents more efficiently
- Make public information more accessible to citizens
- Improve transparency through better data analysis
- Support public sector organizations in serving their communities
What We Do
We review and recommend AI solutions for:
- Government & Public Sector: Document management, transparency tools, citizen services
- Document Processing: AI systems for organizing, searching, and analyzing documents
- Information Access: Tools that make data more findable and understandable

Our Commitment
We’re committed to:
- Transparency: Being honest about this domain’s history and our transition
- Quality: Providing accurate, helpful reviews and guides for AI tools
- Accessibility: Making AI technology understandable for everyone
- Respect: Honoring the important work the RTA did over 15 years
We acknowledge that this is a significant change from the domain’s original purpose. We’ve made every effort to preserve links to historical RTA content and ensure that visitors looking for RTA resources can find them through the archive and the RTA’s current platforms.
